DIRECTOR’S STATEMENT
„The Cuban revolution has faded. The mythology of Fidel and Che means very little to the Cuban youth. It seems almost impossible to imagine a way out of a systematic crisis that affects the individual‘s development. Yet there is still hope, but the support and recognition of young people that Fidel once propagated has dried up.
As a child of the last generation of the former German Democratic Republic, Søren Schaller explores the thoughts of a young generation living under socialism today that might have the potential for a fundamental change.“
